We returned to our hotel and cracked open the inexpensive gruner veltliner wine that we bought at the supermarket.
We'd had so much meat during this trip that we thought we might try something vegetarian for dinner. We walked to Wrenck, a popular vegetarian place but the menu didn't resonate with us. We wandered around the neighborhood near Stephanplatz and ultimately settled on Sababa, a Middle Eastern place.
We knew we had dessert waiting for us back at the hotel room but we had nothing to eat it with. We passed a gelato shop on the way back and I managed to slip in and nab two plastic spoons. We ate our mini Sacher torte with a glass of 89 euro cent Zwiegelt wine that we bought at the supermarket. It was a fantastic toast to the pending conclusion of our trip.
